This course is perfect for you! I designed this curriculum based on one I taught in a Primary School to all the grades from preschool to year 6. As an artist, I wanted to jump start and inspire any age student that they can be creative. I teach some of the principles in a fun way, with plenty of explanation and videos, to take you through very basic steps that help you to be confident to express yourself  artisitically. The outcome is that you will produce a landscape painting that is your  unique work!
Each lesson has an AIM, and what skills you will learn, an EQUIPMENT LIST along with plenty of explanation with videos.
There is an introduction including several videos.
Lesson 1 – an exciting dip into abstract moves using different size brushes and tools, to begin to explore what colour and movement you can create!
Lesson 2 – Mark Making – how different textures and marks can be used to create your piece of work, including explanations of composition  and perspective.
Lesson 3 – Colour Theory – a dive into the terminology of colour theory. Simple explanations with mini lessons to help build understanding.
Lesson 4 – sketch work and how to break down a complicated view into simpler forms to make your final piece.
Lesson 5 – Beginning to plan your landscape painting. Drawing on the previous lessons, you will do more sketchwork, painting a wash over a line drawing and learning to transpose your sketch onto a larger piece of paper
Lesson 6 – Part 2 of the landscape painting. Filling in the detail with confiident lines and planning your paintwork, and final details…

You will receive all the downloads for the course including FAQ file, and extra reference photos file.  Equipment lists and objectives are included in each lesson, as are plenty of demonstration VIDEOS  to walk you through! (Over 30 videos included, plus many of my Creative  blog posts!)
There is a printable Certificate to fill in on completion of the course.
You are welcome to use this in group settings such as Homeschool Education groups or art classes, as long as it is not for profit. In comparison to many online art courses that include demonstration videos and connection to the artist, I am offering this at a price that is very budget friendly, so please do not pass on or reproduce. I believe the way the course builds on skills each lesson, it is not a “do once and move on” course. You could come back to it again, and simply stretch yourself more with the lessons tasks!
