Made with gorgeous smooth ceramic, it has a lovely minimalist design with a white speckled glazed finish, complete with an unglazed bottom to add a touch of something different and modern.
The words hand lettered on the mug however, are anything but modern – taken from the hymn Be thou my vision, it says “be thou my vision oh Lord of my heart” – words that we always need to pray and implore of the Lord. The hand lettering is printed on the ceramic mug in a deep green colour, almost but not quite black.
my aim with this mug (and hopefully more in the future) is to bring style, character and the gospel to everyday moments when you are just sipping a cuppa, to give rest and reassurance in less comfortable times of life. God has given and continues to give us everything we could ever need.
